Sungrow, a Chinese company specialized in providing energy storage systems and photovoltaic inverters, and Larsen & Toubro, an Indian multinational conglomerate, have signed a partnership agreement to supply energy storage systems to the Saudi tourist destination Amalah. The project, which is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and China’s Belt and Road Initiative, includes the provision of photovoltaic inverters with a capacity of 165 MW and energy storage systems with a capacity of 160 MW/760 MWh.
