Saudi-Chinese cooperation has matured significantly, according to experts at a recent Riyadh seminar titled “Saudi-China Dialogue and Exchange on Modernization.” Organized by Saudi Arabia’s CRIK and China Intercontinental Press, the event highlighted 35 years of diplomatic ties and 2025’s China-Saudi Cultural Year. Participants emphasized cultural exchanges as key to deepening mutual understanding. Energy cooperation is also shifting from oil trade to clean-energy partnerships, reflecting shared goals of diversification and sustainability. Both nations view their comprehensive strategic partnership as a model for balanced diplomacy and civilizational dialogue, with broad prospects for future collaboration.
