Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus widened to 24 billion riyals in October, with China remaining its largest trading partner.

Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus widened to SAR 24.0 billion in October 2025, compared to SAR 16.2 billion a year earlier, as export growth outpaced import growth. Total exports rose by 11.8% to SAR 104.0 billion, driven by a 4.0% increase in oil exports, which accounted for 67.4% of total shipments. Non-oil exports surged by 32.3%, fueled by a massive 387.5% increase in transportation equipment and parts. Imports rose by 4.3% to SAR 80.0 billion, led by machinery and electrical equipment. China remained Saudi Arabia’s largest trading partner, ranking first in both exports and imports.
