A consortium consisting of China Railway Construction Corporation and SAMA’s construction unit has won the contract to build the Jeddah Stadium and surrounding sports village from Jeddah Central Company. The facilities will be used to host the 2034 Saudi World Cup. Lusail Stadium, the venue for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, was also built by China Railway Construction.
