The Saudi Ministry of Culture announced that the “Common Ground” festival, organized by Benchmark, will take place from December 24, 2025, to January 6, 2026, at Misk City in Riyadh, celebrating the 2025 Saudi-Chinese Year of Culture and the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The festival’s main exhibition, “When the Wind Turns East,” presented by the Sieg Art Foundation, features works by more than 60 contemporary artists from Saudi Arabia and China, drawn from the collections of Ollie Sieg and Pierre Sieg. The exhibition includes paintings, installations, textiles, and multimedia works, highlighting the diversity of contemporary art in both countries and showcasing the growing Saudi-Chinese cultural exchange.
