The 102 pile foundations for the three gas turbine units in Block 20 of the Saudi Rabigh II gas power plant project, where POWERCHINA has played a significant role, have now been fully poured. This milestone signifies the project’s official transition into the superstructure construction phase and sets a robust foundation for achieving the Block 20 single-cycle power generation target in 2026. As a key component of Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” energy transformation strategy, the project is poised to significantly enhance the local clean energy supply capacity upon completion.
