Abdulrahman Alfadley, Saudi’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, held separate meetings with Han Jun, Chinese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Li Guoying, Minister of Water Resources, talking about prospects for cooperation in water and agriculture and on strengthening the strategic partnership to support sustainable development goals, expand trade, and exchange expertise and modern technologies. In his meeting with Li Guoying, Alfadley discussed water scarcity challenges and explored joint projects. He also reviewed Saudi Arabia’s plans to launch dam projects with the involvement of Chinese companies and to benefit from China’s dam-building expertise.
