Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih stated during the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos that foreign direct investment inflows into Saudi Arabia have increased fivefold since the launch of Vision 2030.
He noted that the Kingdom has become one of the most attractive emerging markets for global capital, with capital formation as a share of GDP now comparable to China and India.
Al-Falih emphasized that improved regulatory frameworks, strong human capital, and abundant natural resources are among the key factors boosting investor confidence. His remarks reflect Saudi Arabia’s growing appeal to long-term international investors, including Chinese companies, amid global economic uncertainty.
