POWERCHINA has signed an EPC contract with a consortium comprising ACWA Power, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and Saudi Electricity Company for the Rumah1 and Nairyah1 combined cycle power plant projects in Saudi Arabia. These power plants are flagship projects under Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” initiative. They are designed to address the increasing demand for electricity, optimize the power structure, enhance the grid’s peak load management capabilities, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.
