WeRide, a Chinese company in the autonomous driving sector, has recently powered the launch of Saudi Arabia’s first Robotaxi pilot service. The service, launched here on Wednesday with the first batch of dozens of Robotaxi vehicles, covers King Khalid International Airport and several core areas in Riyadh, including major highways and selected city center destinations. Full commercial services are expected at the end of 2025.
