On November 11th, the Saudi Chinese Business Council (SCBC) hosted a delegation in Riyadh led by the Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) of China’s Ministry of Commerce.

Dr. Anas Alfadda, Vice Chairman of SCBC, met with Mr. Zirong Yu, Deputy Director of CIPA, to discuss enhancing bilateral investment cooperation and establishing new mechanisms to facilitate the market entry of Chinese enterprises into Saudi Arabia.

The delegation featured leading Chinese companies across critical sectors, including:

•ICT & Digital Infrastructure: Huawei Technologies, ZTE Corporation

•Digital Solutions & AI: PCI Technology Group, Jiangsu HopeRun Software, AI-VoyagerX

•Engineering & Construction: Shanghai Baoye Group, The Fourth Construction Co., Ltd. of China Electronics System Engineering (CEFOC)

•Pharmaceutical Engineering: Shanghai Morimatsu Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineering

•R&D & Innovation: HKUST Shenzhen–Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Research Institute

These companies/organizations expressed strong investment interests in smart cities, cloud computing, local manufacturing, and pharmaceutical projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
