The project adopts a “China technology + Saudi capital + local operations” model, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to develop mining as a key economic pillar. Targeting one of Saudi Arabia’s most promising mineral belts, the initiative aims to unlock significant gold resources while strengthening China–Saudi cooperation in the mining sector and supporting long-term industrial and resource diversification.
