To mark the 35th anniversary of Saudi-Chinese diplomatic relations, cooperation in green transportation continues to deepen within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 and China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Approximately 200 fully electric buses from Yutong have arrived in the Kingdom for the Red Sea Group and SIXT, with 90 of them already in service in the Red Sea region. This deployment contributes to the region’s goal of building a carbon-neutral transportation network. Designed to withstand hot climates and coastal environments, the buses reflect China’s growing role in supporting the transition to green mobility and the development of sustainable public transportation in Saudi Arabia.
Around 200 Chinese electric buses will be put into operation in Saudi Arabia in one batch.
