The 28th Shanghai International Film Festival (June 12–21) has announced its Golden Goblet Awards lineup across five categories. The main competition features 12 world premieres from 15 countries, including two Chinese titles and a China-Hong Kong co-production. The jury is chaired by Hong Kong legend Tony Leung Chiu-wai. Notably, Jordan-Saudi co-production “Boomah” competes in the Asian New Talent section. The festival spans fiction, documentary, animation, and short film categories, drawing global talent to one of Asia’s most prestigious film events.
