His Excellency, the President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, on this occasion, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince for this sponsorship, which comes within the framework of the state’s interest and its constant keenness on everything that would provide various forms of support and the reasons for success for this important global summit. He pointed out that the Crown Prince’s patronage gives the summit’s work status and importance at all local, regional and international levels.
He said: It has become clear that artificial intelligence technologies have begun to be used in our daily lives and will significantly impact all aspects of life. Therefore, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has set the visions of this modern technical field within the objectives of its Vision 2030, and through this global summit, it will seek to become a major forum in the world. in the field of artificial intelligence after the success of the first summit held in 2020.
He added that the summit will discuss everything related to the field of artificial intelligence technologies from the present reality, challenges, and aspirations towards benefiting from its technologies through what the participants will present from experts and specialists from senior officials in government agencies and major technology companies in the world from various presentations that highlight the latest research and technologies in this field. field, exchanging experiences with them, and discovering investment opportunities associated with artificial intelligence tools during the next stage.
His Excellency stated that the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence in its second edition is also an opportunity for those interested and experts in this field to benefit from the gathering of more than 100 speakers around the world under one roof in Riyadh, specializing in artificial intelligence, in order to listen to them during their participation in work sessions, panel discussions, and accompanying workshops and to be informed.
