The Kingdom’s ambassador to China: The visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is in harmony with the Vision 2030 and the Silk Road Initiative

The Saudi ambassador to China, Turki bin Muhammad Al-Madhi, said that the visit of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to Beijing, is in tune with the vision 2030 of the Kingdom, and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.

Al-Madhi described the visit as historic and very important, indicating that the government of the Chinese are looking to it with great interest, as the President of China is held in high esteem for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

He explained that it comes within the exchange of visits between the leaderships of the two countries, where the Chinese President visited the Kingdom at the beginning of the last year 2016 AD, as a result of that visit, there was a great development in the relations between the two countries.

Regarding the visit, Al-Falih said that he expected it to witness further development of relations between the two countries, through agreements and memoranda of understanding that will be signed between them, in various aspects of cooperation, and the strengthening of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

He stressed that the visit is in harmony with the Kingdom’s vision 2030, and with the initiative of the Economic Belt and the Western Silk Road, which is a great opportunity to transfer relations between the two countries to a wider and welcome space.

According to the Saudi ambassador, trade relations between the two countries in 2016 reached about $ 51 billion, indicating that there is a surplus in the trade balance in the interest of the Kingdom.
