Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Human Capacity Development Program Committee, launched the strategy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, which represents a new phase for scholarships that contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of citizens by raising the efficiency of human capital in new and promising sectors. The launch of this strategy for the program comes as a continuation of the Kingdom’s efforts to develop human capabilities, seeking to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The Human Capacity Development Program Committee has also worked on developing the strategy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, in cooperation with a number of relevant authorities, represented in several tracks designed in line with the priorities of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, its executive programs, and the needs of the renewable and accelerating labor market.

The strategy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program includes three strategic pillars. The first pillar was to focus on awareness and preparation for scholarships to highlight the importance of qualifying scholarship students to start early planning for their scientific and practical journey in international universities according to different fields. As for the second pillar, it is concerned with developing scholarship tracks and programs, and aims to enhance the Kingdom’s competitiveness locally and internationally through scholarships for tracks required by the local and global labor market in the best educational institutions according to international classifications. The third pillar is represented in the follow-up and subsequent care of the scholarship students through guidance and development of services provided to them in order to enhance their readiness to engage in the labor market or research institutions inside and outside the Kingdom.

The strategy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program comes with four tracks. Each of these tracks has clear and specific goals that it is working to achieve. The “Pioneers” track aims to send students to the top 30 educational institutions in the world according to the classifications of internationally accredited universities in all disciplines, which contributes to enabling Saudi scholarship students are distinguished and globally competitive in all fields. While the “Research and Development” track, which is one of the most important tracks to enable the research and innovation system, focuses on sending graduate students to the best institutes and universities around the world, achieving qualification and empowerment to graduate future scientists.

The Imdaad track also works to meet the needs of the labor market in specific disciplines that are periodically updated through scholarships to the best 200 universities to ensure that the labor market is equipped with the required competencies.
The last of these tracks is the “Promising” track, which aims to send students in promising sectors and fields according to the national requirements for major projects and promising sectors, by training scholarship students in the best international programs and academies to provide sectors with globally qualified human capabilities in promising sectors, such as the industry sector and the tourism sector. and other sectors.

The launch of this strategy comes as a continuation of the Kingdom’s efforts to raise the citizens’ readiness to prepare for the future and enhance their competition globally. The application for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program with its promising paths will be through the Safir platform of the Ministry of Education.
