The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom, Chen Weiqing, visited the headquarters of the General Entertainment Authority in Riyadh; Where he was received by the President of the Authority, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, to discuss ways of cooperation in the entertainment sector between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China.
In media statements on the sidelines of the visit, Ambassador Wei Cheng emphasized that the Kingdom is prospering thanks to the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman, the Crown Prince, for human empowerment policies, especially the empowerment of youth and women, pointing out that during His visit to the headquarters of the Entertainment Authority saw trained cadres of youth and women.
He congratulated the Kingdom on the achievements it has achieved during the past period, stressing that these achievements are a translation of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
The “Chinese ambassador” pointed out that China and the Kingdom have strong relations and broad areas for expanding bilateral cooperation in culture, entertainment, and sports, promising to make every effort to enhance cooperation and communication and enable friendship between the Chinese and Saudi peoples.
