Statistics: The Kingdom’s non-oil merchandise exports increased in June

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) issued the Kingdom’s International Trade Bulletin for the month of June of 2022 AD.

According to the data contained in this bulletin, the value of the Kingdom’s merchandise exports during June 2022 amounted to (148 billion riyals), compared to (84 billion riyals) during June 2021, with an increase of (64 billion riyals), by (75.2%).

The value of oil exports during June 2022 amounted to (118 billion riyals), compared to (61 billion riyals) during June 2021, with an increase of (57 billion riyals) or (94.1%), while the value of non-oil exports (including re-exports) During June 2022 (30 billion riyals), compared to (24 billion riyals) during June 2021, an increase of (6 billion riyals), by (26.8%).

While the value of the Kingdom’s merchandise imports during June 2022 amounted to (60 billion riyals), compared to (47 billion riyals) during June 2021, with an increase of (13 billion riyals), by (28.9%).

On the other hand, the value of the Kingdom’s merchandise exports during the second quarter of 2022 amounted to (430 billion riyals), compared to (232 billion riyals) during the second quarter of 2021, with an increase of (198 billion riyals), by (85.1%).

The value of petroleum exports during the second quarter of 2022 amounted to (344 billion riyals), compared to (166 billion riyals) during the second quarter of 2021, with an increase of (178 billion riyals), at a rate of (106.5%), and the value of non-oil exports (including re-exports) During the second quarter of 2022 (86 billion riyals), compared to (66 billion riyals) during the second quarter of 2021, an increase of (20 billion riyals), by (31.0%).

While the value of imports during the second quarter of 2022 amounted to (171 billion riyals), compared to (140 billion riyals) during the second quarter of 2021, with an increase of (31 billion riyals), by (21.7%).
