Saudi Arabia’s Investment Minister Khalid A. Al-Falih called for more investments from mainland China and Hong Kong in a closed-door meeting in Riyadh with a business delegation led by Hang Lung Properties’ chairman Ronnie Chan Chi-Chung. Al-Falih noted that private company investments are sometimes better at facilitating bilateral relationship building than the public sector and that he hopes to build more bilateral ties in education, aiming to boost Chinese as the most-learned second language in the country.
