Saudi Arabia sends top delegation to China’s ‘Summer Davos’

Saudi Arabia will send a 24-strong delegation to this week’s Summer Davos in China, led by Economy and Planning Minister Faisal Alibrahim and Communications and information technology minister Abdullah Alswaha. Official visits of delegations from Chinese cities such as Beijing and Xiamen to Saudi Arabia are also booming. In an interview with the media outlet, eWTP noted that they had been focusing on localizing Chinese digital services in Saudi Arabia, and their second round of fundraising is likely to close at USD 1 billion by the end of this year.
