Saudi Arabia hosts the Global Entrepreneurship Conference with the participation of 180 countries

Under the patronage of Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” is organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Conference GEC, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in cooperation with The Global Entrepreneurship Network, from 27-30 March.

The Global Entrepreneurship Network chose the capital, Riyadh, to host the conference, so that the Kingdom ranked first in the world in the indicators “Availability of good opportunities to start a business” and “Ease of starting a business.” It also ranked first in the “Pandemic Entrepreneurs Response” and “Government Response” indicators. The Kingdom for the Pandemic”, among 45 countries, according to the indicators of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, where the network is keen to choose cities that witness intense activity in the entrepreneurial environment.

The conference, which is launched under the slogan “We Reinvent – ​​Renew,” will witness the attendance of entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and decision-makers from 180 countries, to discuss the economic challenges facing the global entrepreneurship environment, exchange experiences, and seize investment opportunities during the next stage, in addition to learning lessons learned from The challenges the world faced during the Corona pandemic (Covid 19).

The Global Entrepreneurship Conference is an ideal opportunity for entrepreneurs and those interested to understand the dimensions of the next stage, absorb the lessons provided by the global pandemic, learn about best practices in dealing with crises, maintain the flexibility and continuity of commercial activities, in addition to exchanging creative ideas between entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world.
