With all eyes are on the “Golden Week” in China, which begins today, Thursday, the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a new dawn of Saudi-Chinese relations shines upon the two countries’ mutual benefit towards cooperation, prosperity and common progress.
Emphasizing the depth of cooperation relations between the two countries, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness, King Salman bin Abdulaziz congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the anniversary of his country’s National Day. Expressing in his name and in the name of the people and government of the Kingdom, a congratulatory message, expressing the sincere congratulations and best wishes for health and happiness to the Chinese president, the government, and the people of the People’s Republic of China steady progress and prosperity.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, congratulated President Xi’s telegram on the occasion of the same anniversary, expressing congratulations and sincere wishes for health and happiness, and also expresses his sincere good wishes for the government and people of the People’s Republic of China to progress with prosperity.
The Chinese National Day is considered a national holiday that coincides with the anniversary of the founding of the republic on October 1, 1949, and its celebrations continue for a whole week called “Golden Week”, in which all government interests and official bodies are kept on hold after reaping the fruits of the economic reforms that achieved quick and long-term miracles.
The Chinese celebrations come at a time when relations between the Kingdom and China are witnessing new dawn of cooperation and prosperity in various fields, particularly trade and mutual investment, which is an indication of promising future bets confirmed by facts of reality.

The Kingdom and China are linked to historical relations based on the foundations of cooperation and mutual exchange. Their pace has increased in recent years with the Kingdom’s announcement of its 2030 vision and China’s revival of the “Belt and Road” initiative, which converge on more than one strategic economic axis, in addition to sharing many economic values and principles aimed at Diversity and openness.
A week ago, Chinese officials and citizens participated in several scenes that expressed the extent of cooperation and close fraternal relations between the two countries, their Saudi counterparts in the Kingdom’s celebrations of the 90th National Day, which they celebrated under the slogan “Him to the summit.”
On the occasion of the launch of the “Golden Week” and the Chinese National Day celebrations, the Saudi-Chinese Business Council is working in full swing to provide a set of promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom and China, within the framework of its role in facilitating mutual benefit, paving the way for development and achieving promising economic leaps in both countries. Providing a wide range of services and facilities that help achieve a number of goals for Chinese partners investing in the Kingdom, in addition to nurturing the role of Saudi investments in China, by connecting elite businessmen from various fields who represent a large base in the Saudi market in its various branches.
The Council works within the framework of the great economic movement that the Kingdom launched in light of its international standing and its global active role in building a solid and strong national economy, based on the foundations of Vision 2030 launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and announcing its implementation plans based on various programs and mechanisms. Most notably, the National Transformation Program, reformulate Saudi relations with countries of the world, including the People’s Republic of China, and to work to nurture and develop these relations within the framework of mutual interests and common development.
