French financial group Rothschild & Co. has appointed two new leadership positions for its new office in Saudi Arabia. The company started applying for a license to incorporate in the kingdom earlier this year. JPMorgan Chase is also set to add an additional 20 employees to its Riyadh office this year. Moelis & Co. is opening an office and hiring bankers. Lazard Ltd. has appointed two senior bankers and said it will make Riyadh its center in the Middle East, a role traditionally reserved for Dubai. Saudi Arabia is a bright spot for capital markets and an opportunity for global banks to continue to grow.
