New data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that the Chinese auto industry continued to post strong growth in production and sales last October.
Auto production in China, the world’s largest auto market, reached 2.6 million units, and vehicle sales exceeded 2.5 million units last month, up 11.1 percent and 6.9 percent year on year, respectively.
In the first ten months of this year, car production reached 22.24 million units, up 7.9% year on year, and total car sales reached 21.98 million units, up 4.6%.
The association said the auto industry’s key economic indicators continue to improve, which will help the auto market achieve stable growth for the whole year.
