The results of industrial data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that Chinese car companies exported 1.79 million cars during the period from January to November, the months of 2021, more than double compared to the same period in 2020.
The data released indicated that China’s auto exports rose, led by the strong recovery in demand for new energy vehicles, by 59.1% year on year to 200,000 units during the month of November alone.
As for passenger car exports, they in turn jumped by 71.2% compared to 2020 to reach 170,000 units in November 2021, while exports of commercial vehicles increased by 13% year on year to 30,000 units.
In turn, exports of new energy vehicles rose skyrocket to a record 189.9% compared to 2020, reaching 37,000 units in November 2021.
