Chinese media have restated the strategic partnership and strong relationship between Riyadh and Beijing, coinciding with the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the People’s Republic of China.
The Chinese media described the visit as very important for the two countries and a strong impetus for the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
His Royal Highness King Salman indicated that among the most important objectives of the visit was to increase the integration between the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the Chinese “Belt and Road” initiative, and to strengthen Saudi-Chinese cooperation, especially in the fields of energy, industry, production, and infrastructure. He also mentioned that his country was the Kingdom’s first trading partner.
